Do you know how confident your students feel?
Understand how prepared students feel about what comes next—and where additional support could make a difference.
How Certyz works
Certyz helps students explore careers that fit their profile, understand the current market around those careers and identify useful next steps. Schools gain aggregated insight from participating students.
The student experience and school insight are connected, but they serve different purposes.
Students tell Certyz about their interests, favourite subjects, preferred activities, intended routes, region and current career confidence.
Certyz recommends careers worth exploring and separates personal fit from current market opportunity so students can understand both.
Students can compare vacancies, salary signals, entry-level opportunity, graduate context and possible routes into different careers.
Participating responses contribute to aggregated insight about career interests, intended routes, confidence and pathway themes across the cohort.
Follow the experience from a student completing the assessment through to the aggregated insight their school receives.
Understand how prepared students feel about what comes next—and where additional support could make a difference.
A single conversation cannot always reveal the shared picture across a year group or whole school.
They rate their confidence and complete a short assessment covering interests, subjects, preferred routes and career clarity.
The school sees combined insight—not a list of individual student answers.

Certyz scores each career out of 100 using current vacancy demand and the number of graduates entering the field. In future, anonymised student-interest data will add another view of where potential supply and demand may be heading.
Advertised roles provide a current signal of employer demand, including how opportunity differs between UK regions.
Graduate numbers help show how many people may be entering a field and where competition for available roles could be higher.
As participation grows, anonymised interest data can add an early view of how many students are considering the same career.
A score of 70 or above indicates a stronger current opportunity signal. Below 70, students should look more carefully at competition, location, entry routes and related careers rather than treating the score as a reason to rule a career in or out.
The data is refreshed daily, so a score can rise or fall as market conditions change. It provides current context, not a prediction of an individual student's future success.
For students
The assessment does not decide a student's future. It gives them an evidence-based starting point for researching careers, comparing routes and having better conversations.

Personal Match explains how closely a career aligns with the student. Opportunity looks at the current market around that career.
Vacancy and salary evidence helps students understand how opportunities differ in their selected UK region.
Students can see vacancy levels across careers that typically provide an entry route into the wider field.
University, college, apprenticeship and work-based routes can be explored together where relevant.
Reports finish with useful areas to research and questions students can take into guidance conversations.
From one student to the wider picture
Each student receives guidance for themselves. As more students take part, schools can begin to see the patterns emerging across the cohort and use those patterns to support future careers conversations.
For schools and colleges
Certyz brings assessment participation, student aspirations and labour-market evidence together so careers teams can see patterns and identify where further guidance may be useful.
